Burner Care & Safety Information
All our electric and tea-light burners/warmers are sourced from leading, reputable suppliers, and we follow all manufacturer guidance to ensure safe and correct use.
Switching Your Burner On & Off
Touch-sensitive electric models:
When switching on, tap through the settings slowly, allowing a few seconds between each tap. This helps prevent bulbs from blowing due to sudden electrical surges.
When switching off, always tap the burner off first, then switch off at the plug.
When turning it back on, switch on at the plug first, then tap the burner on.
Changing Bulbs
Our electric burners use G9 40W bulbs (available to purchase separately).
These bulbs push in and pull out—they do not screw in.
Avoid touching the bulb directly with your fingers. Oils from the skin can reduce the bulb’s lifespan.
Use a clean cloth or tissue when fitting a new bulb.
Removing Used Wax
Wait until the wax has fully melted, then gently press one edge to release it. It should pop out easily.
For quicker removal, heat the wax for no more than 15 seconds until it softens, then gently push it to remove.
Do not use sharp or metal objects to scrape wax. This can crack ceramic dishes or shatter glass burners.
Faulty Burners
If your burner appears faulty, please contact us in the first instance.
We can offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days, provided the burner is returned to us.
After 30 days, the burner must be returned for inspection. We will then offer either an exchange or a credit voucherin line with our supplier’s policy.
Accidental damage (such as cracked dishes caused by using sharp tools to remove wax) is not covered, and we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for this.
